2017 Joliet West PG Teyvion Kirk Commits To Ohio

Class of 2017 Joliet West standout Teyvion Kirk has decided on Ohio University as his collegiate destination.

Kirk, a 6’3 point guard, is a versatile backcourt talent who knows how to score. He was originally signed to play for Drake ahead of getting a release following a coaching change.

Kirk competed on the travel team circuit with ALL IN/Young & Reckless.

Nebraska Transfer Ed Morrow Begins To Set Visits

Nebraska transfer Ed Morrow (Chicago Simeon) has visits planned to Marquette, Iowa State and Pittsburgh.

Morrow, a 6’7 forward, will visit Marquette this weekend, Iowa State next weekend and will look to visit Pittsburgh in early May.

Morrow averaged 9.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per game this past season for Nebraska as a sophomore.

Morrow will have two years of playing eligibility remaining after sitting out 2017-18 per NCAA transfer rules.

Illinois, Kansas Emerge As Leaders For Cal Transfer Charlie Moore

Illinois and Kansas have emerged as the likeliest schools to land Cal transfer Charlie Moore (Chicago Morgan Park).

Moore, a 5’11 guard, was the 2016 winner of the Illinois Mr. Basketball award.

Moore averaged 12.2 points, 3.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game this past season as a freshman at Cal.

Moore will have three years of playing eligibility remaining after sitting out 2017-18 per NCAA transfer rules.

2017 Whitney Young G Lucas Williamson Commits To Loyola

Class of 2017 Chicago Whitney Young standout Lucas Williamson has committed to play his college basketball for head coach Porter Moser and Loyola University.

Williamson, a 6’4 guard, is known for his ability to get buckets with his jump shot, and is fresh off of helping to lead Whitney Young to the IHSA Class 4A state championship.

Williamson becomes the third big-time in-state recruit for Loyola joining 6’8 Cam Krutwig (Jacobs) and 6’7 Christian Negron (Elgin Larkin) in a monster haul of high school talent for Loyola.

Williamson competed on the Nike EYBL circuit with Meanstreets.
