Former Bloomington Central Catholic star Brandon Dunson of junior college powerhouse Wabash Valley College has now added a Pacific 10 scholarship offer from Arizona State to his collection. Dunson ranks as one of the top junior college basketball prospects in the country.

Dunson, a 6'3" guard, is an explosive athlete who has diversified his skills to include being able to play either guard slot. A Southern Illinois-Edwardsville transfer, Dunson has seen his recruiting stock explode as a sophomore at Wabash Valley.

In addition to Arizona State, Dunson has a long line of schools active in his recruitment including Valparaiso, Nevada, Gonzaga, Oklahoma State and Western Kentucky to name a few.

Arizona State has been quite active in the state of Illinois in the past year, and they were active players in the recruitment of both Alex Dragicevich (Glenbrook North) and Duje Dukan (Deerfield). Dragicevich ultimately selected Notre Dame, while Dukan is headed to Wisconsin.
