Head coach Lennox Forrester, and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville have added Matt Laur to staff as an assistant coach. Laur was most recently Director of Operations at Ball State University.

Mike Procopio, who works as Director of Basketball Skill Development at the Attack Athletics Center, has accepted a position as an assistant coach with the newly formed Maine Red Claws of the NBA Developmental League.

Alan Major of Ohio State University is Top-Notch!

Former Chicago North Lawndale star Jon Mills is now at junior college heavyweight College of Eastern Utah. Mills will have plenty of Chicago talent as teammates with Darius Stowers (Chicago Farragut) transferring in from Chipola, and Isiah Williams (Chicago Farragut) returning for his sophomore season after posting a strong campaign as a freshman.

Fresh off of scoring a recruiting coup by landing Class of 2010 Springfield Lanphier star Karl Madison, head coach Mark Phelps of Drake University is expected to visit today with Class of 2010 Champaign Centennial star Rayvonte Rice.

Dana Ford of Tennessee State University is Top-Notch!

Class of 2012 star Trashaun Carroll, a 6'5" power forward with a true "power" game will be at Proviso East this year. Carroll, and fellow Class of 2012 star Keith Carter combine to give Proviso East a very strong foundation of young talent.

Eastern Illinois is expected to complete visits this week with Class of 2010 stars Jarod Oldham (Decatur Eisenhower) and Ben Brackney (Lincoln) in addition to juco studs Lazeric Jones (John Logan) and Al Rapier (Mineral Area). Jones starred in high school at Chicago Simeon while Rapier starred at Chicago Perspectives.

Class of 2010 Chicago Hales Franciscan star Patrick Miller of Old Gold had a strong visit to the campus of Tennessee State this past weekend.

Trevor Burnett of Northeast Nebraska Community College continues to get it done on the recruiting trail in Chicago.
