Players who can score the basketball at a high rate are always in demand, and the state of Illinois has a host of players who specialize in putting the ball in the hole. Here is a look at six uncommitted prospects from the Illinois Class of 2010 who have the ability to score the basketball with the best of them.
|
Jay Harris |
| Position: Guard |
Height: 6'1" |
| High School: Oswego East |
Class: 2010 |
A big-time offensive machine who has the ability to put points on the board from anywhere on the floor. Can score a lot of points in a hurry with his three-point shooting skills, and his ability to draw fouls and still finish on his drives to the hole. |
|
Hollis Hill |
| Position: Guard |
Height: 6'0" |
| High School: Chicago Vocational |
Class: 2010 |
A Chicago Public League scoring machine. Averaged better than 20 points per contest last year en route to leading Vocational to a stellar season. Will be looking for a repeat performance in the super-tough Red-South this year. |
|
Kyle Clevenger |
| Position: Shooting Guard |
Height: 6'5" |
| High School: Urbana |
Class: 2010 |
Brings size, versatility and an ability to score the basketball to the table. Can put a team on his back offensively for stretches. Doubles as a football star during the fall. Had a huge summer for Team Illinois including a stellar showing at the Chicago Summer Classic. |
|
Kashaune McKinney |
| Position: Shooting Guard |
Height: 6'3" |
| High School: Rich East |
Class: 2010 |
Put himself on the map last year as one of the top players on a strong Rich East team. An excellent shooter who drops shots with three-point range. Will be counted on heavily for offensive production this year at Rich East. |
|
Gerald Dorsey |
| Position: Guard |
Height: 5'10" |
| High School: Tinley Park |
Class: 2010 |
Put up big offensive numbers for Tinley Park both during his sophomore and junior seasons. Loves to light it up from long-range! Should once again be good for 20+ points per game this year as a senior. |
|
Luke Labedzki |
| Position: Shooting Guard |
Height: 6'2" |
| High School: Bartlett |
Class: 2010 |
Has put up strong offensive numbers for Bartlett since his freshman year. A terrific shooter who punishes opponents with his jump shot when left open. Poised to once again lead Bartlett with his ability to put the ball in the hole. |
