Harvey ranks as one of the top Class of 2012 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois. Harvey, a 6'3" shooting guard, is a strong and athletic backcourt force who has the ability to assume multiple roles on the basketball court. Harvey is an explosive athlete, who is quick off the floor, and is a player who actively looks to take on the defensive assignment of guarding the top backcourt scoring threat of the opposition. Harvey is currently enjoying a standout spring playing for a star-studded 15-U Indiana Elite team, and recently posted a stellar showing at the University of Wisconsin Elite Camp. Harvey's upside potential as a prospect is through the roof. The Illinois Class of 2012 is beginning to round out quite nicely, and features a great deal of backcourt talent. Harvey has the potential to be as good as any prospect in the Illinois Class of 2012. This coming high school season, Harvey will be a part of another very strong St. Joseph team that will also feature a great deal of veteran talent including Wayne Simon, DeAndre McCamey, Brandon Carr and Mantas Dubauskas. |
