Class of 2011 Rock Island star Chasson Randle of the 15-U Illinois Wolves is beginning to see the high-major scholarship offers begin pour in. Randle ranks as one of the top prospects in the Illinois Class of 2011.

Randle, a 6'2" point guard, is a dazzling combination of size, athleticism, explosiveness and basketball skill. He is a player who has an extremely high ceiling as a prospect, and is a player who makes everything on the floor look easy.

Mike Mullins of the Illinois Wolves believes that Randle has a chance go be as good as any player who has ever come through the Wolves program, and notes that Illinois, Indiana and Iowa State have all jumped on board with scholarship offers. Purdue, Wisconsin and Ohio State are all actively keeping close tabs on Randle, who currently holds the #2 slot in the ChicagoHoops.com Illinois Class of 2011 prospect rankings.

Randle opened the month of July with a strong showing at Reebok U in Philadelphia, and then played up with the 16-U Wolves at the Reebok Summer Championships in the 17-U age division. Randle closed out July at the USSSA National Championships where he helped to lead the 15-U Illinois Wolves to the title.
