Class of 2008 Chicago Hales Franciscan star Josh Crittle of MeanStreets enjoyed a strong visit to the campus of Kansas State University this past weekend. Crittle, who ranks as one of the top 2008 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois, still has two more visits to make this month, and will make a fourth campus visit in October.

Crittle, who stands 6-8, is a physical enforcer inside who brings both size and strength to the post. While playing with MeanStreets this past spring and summer, Crittle teamed with Oregon-bound Michael Dunigan (Chicago Farragut) to form one of the top interior duo's in the country.

Crittle said, "I really liked the atmosphere at Kansas State. The fans are crazy!" Crittle noted that he when he arrived at 11:30 AM the fans in Manhattan, Kansas already had their tailgate parties going in full effect for a football game that didn't kick off until 6:00 PM. At KSU, Crittle got a chance to hang out with former Proviso East star Jacob Pullen, who is a freshman at the Big 12 school. Former Chicago Washington star Mario Little was also on campus with Crittle for a visit.

Crittle, who will anchor the post for another super-strong Hales Franciscan team, is slated to visit Southern Illinois University this weekend, and the University of Oregon during the last weekend of September. Crittle will visit Marquette University during the month of October.
