Class Of 2009 Seton Academy Star Corbin Thomas To Play For Head Coach Jay Harrington, And Juco Powerhouse Southwestern Illinois College Chicago Hoops July 1, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Class of 2009 Seton Academy star Corbin Thomas has decided to play for head coach Jay Harrington, and junior college powerhouse Southwestern Illinois College. Thomas ranks as one of the top Class of 2009 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois. Thomas, a 6'6" power forward, is a strong and athletic interior force. Thomas is a strong finisher and rebounder inside, and is a player who plays with a physical style defensively. This past season, Thomas helped to lead a powerful Seton Academy team all the way to the IHSA Class 2A state championship. Thomas joins a Southwestern Illinois recruiting class that also includes 6'7" Bloom Township star Aaron Nelson. Thomas is a full academic qualifier, and figures to immediately draw the attention of a number of Division I basketball programs.
