Chicago Foreman Sophomore Star Lavonte Dority Continues To Sizzle On The Basketball Court With His Ability To Put Points On The Board
Class of 2010 Chicago Foreman star Lavonte Dority continues to sizzle on the basketball court with his ability to put points on the board. Dority ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.
Dority, a 6-0 point guard, is a strong-framed slasher who is at his best attacking the basket, and finishing at the rim. Dority has a knack for using is strength and quickness to penetrate the lane. He does an excellent job of absorbing contact, drawing fouls, and finishing off his drives with buckets.
Chicago Foreman head coach Terry Head notes that "everybody" has called to inquire about his young star including DePaul, Indiana and a host of other high-major programs.
Dority, and fellow sophomore Mike McCall combine to give Foreman a young and dynamic backcourt duo that already rates as one of the better combinations in the state of Illinois.
Through two games in the Chicago Public League Holiday Tournament Dority has recorded games of 28 points against Chicago Englewood, and 21 points against Chicago Hope.
This afternoon, Foreman will take on Chicago Brooks, and their talented array of freshman in a third round consolation game at the Chicago Public League Holiday Tournament.
