Wisconsin-bound Class of 2009 star Diamond Taylor sent a message to opponents as to what they can expect this season as he scored 29 points en route to leading Bolingbrook past a hungry Peoria Central team on Tuesday night.

Taylor, a 6'3" shooting guard, opened the game strong, and scored 18 of his 29 points in the first half. Taylor put his smooth shooting stroke from long-range on full display, and after draining four first half treys, he effectively began to use shot-fakes, and consistently drove to the bucket.

Peoria Central gave Bolingbrook all that they could handle for 3 1/2 quarters before Bolingbrook was able to pull away for a 78-68 win. Defensively, Taylor spent a good part of the evening chasing 5'10" Class of 2012 star Antonio "Bobo" Drummond, who was impressive in his own right throughout the evening.

Taylor also dazzled the crowd at the Decatur Turkey Classic with 3 two-handed power jams as he set the tone for his team. Wisconsin-Green Bay-bound Troy Snyder backed up Taylor with 25 points as he scored from all points of the floor.

Next up for Taylor, Snyder and Bolingbrook will be a Friday night battle with 6'3" Jarod Oldham, 6'9" Brock Von Nordeck and Decatur Eisenhower High School.
