Class of 2011 Lake Forest Academy star Dylan Ennis has added a few scholarship offers to his collection, and just wrapped up a visit to the campus of UIC. Ennis ranks as one of the top Class of 2011 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Ennis, a 6'0" point guard, is a superb floor leader who can not only take over games with his ability to score, but is also an excellent ball-distributor who finds easy scoring opportunities for his teammates. Ennis was originally committed to Akron ahead of deciding to open up his recruitment in June.

“My latest offers are from TCU, Creighton, Northern Iowa, and UIC. I feel blessed to be getting all these offers and receiving attention from college coaches. I have been working out harder than ever to continue to take my game to the next level. As far as recruiting goes, I plan to see a whole lot of schools in September.”

UIC has pegged Ennis as a recruiting priority, and have already had him on campus this week for an unofficial visit that went well. Ennis spoke highly of new head coach Howard Moore, and is in the process of setting up more visits to schools. “I’m planning on setting up two or three official visits for September, and then go from there. Also, I may take a couple unofficial to schools that are close like Wisconsin Green-Bay maybe this Saturday, and UIC maybe in the future again,” said Ennis.

Ennis doesn't currently have a leader and has a host of other schools including Charleston, Akron, Santa Clara, Bradley and Rice among the long line of schools that are active in his recruitment.
