The Chicago Catholic League is always fiercely competitive, and 2009-10 will be no different. Here is an early look at what the Preseason ChicagoHoops.com 1st Team All-Chicago Catholic League squad will look like. The team features a wealth of talent from the loaded Illinois Class of 2011.

A University of Illinois recruit. A dazzling backcourt talent who has the ability to take over games both as a ball-distributor, and also as a scorer. Combines with 2012 star Malcolm Hill-Bey to form one of the top backcourt duo's in the state of Illinois. |

Isaac Smith |
| Position: Guard |
Height: 6'2" |
| High School: Chicago Leo |
Class: 2010 |
A tough and hardnosed competitor on both ends of the floor. Followed up a strong junior season on the hardwood last year with Chicago Leo, with an equally impressive run with Full Package/Chicago Elite on the travel team circuit. Poised to become a household name throughout the state of Illinois as a senior. |

Class: 2010 |
A strong and athletic lead guard who has the ability to score the ball in a variety of ways. Can also excel with his passing skills, and will lead a Hales Franciscan team that expects to be very strong this year. |

An elite 2011 prospect who has been a varsity mainstay since his freshman year. Excels with his versatility both offensively and defensively. Will lead another strong De La Salle team that will also feature 6'7" Class of 2013 star Alex Foster. |

Class: 2010 |
A strong and athletic frontcourt star who has the ability to score and board inside. When he is on his game, Olivier is a force inside. Will anchor the post for a Seton Academy team that will be looking for a repeat run of their 2A state title of a year ago.

A University of Illinois recruit. A fast-developing post talent who excels with his ability to shut down the paint with his rebounding and shot-blocking skills. Is a great defensive compliment to a St. Ignatius team that excels with highly disciplined offensive execution. |
