The Central Suburban League annually rates as one of the most competitive in all of the state of Illinois, and 2009-10 is no exception. Here is an early look at the ChicagoHoops.com Preseason 1st Team All-Central Suburban South squad. The team is headed by Illinois-bound Jereme Richmond (Waukegan).

A strong and versatile backcourt star who is set to take over as the leader of a young and talented Evanston squad. Excels with his ability to score the basketball, and also excels in the classroom. |

Class: 2010 |
An athletic and hardnosed competitor on both end of the floor. One of four returning starters from Waukegan's state runner-up team of a year ago. Will be a major factor as Waukegan looks to try and capture the Class 4A state title. |

Class: 2010 |
A University of California recruit. Excels with his ability to knock down shots both with range and accuracy. A four-year varsity performer who will team with Fred Heldring to lead a veteran New Trier squad. |

Class: 2010 |
A University of Illinois recruit. One of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the country, and the leading contender to take home Mr. Basketball honors. Will look to cap off a stellar career with a Class 4A state title. |

A College of William & Mary recruit. A tall, long and mobile post who has the ability to make things happen both inside and outside. Will team will Alex Rossi to form a talented and experienced inside-outside duo for New Trier. |
