The start of the high school basketball season is just around the corner, and with that we will begin to start looking at some of the players who could be ready to emerge as bona fide stars on the basketball. Here is a look at four who could be poised to breakout during the 2009-10 campaign.

Vincent Garrett
Position: Forward Height: 6'5"
High School: Chicago Marshall Class: 2010
A long and highly athletic forward who can dominate games on the glass. An explosive athlete who now has an improved ability to do a thing or two on the perimeter. Takes over the lead role for a Marshall program that has cranked out an incredibly high volume of basketball talent over the years.
Aaron Williams
Position: Forward Height: 6'5"
High School: Chicago Vocational Class: 2010
A high-energy frontcourt star who pretty much assumes whatever role that Vocational needs no matter if it is in paint, or on the perimeter. Williams could be set to become a household name as one of the anchors of a Vocational team that will be among the best in Illinois.
Ray Lester
Position: Power Forward Height: 6'6"
High School: Crete-Monee Class: 2010
A rugged and athletic inside force who makes things happen with his strength and athleticism. Could be ready to emerge while anchoring the frontcourt for a Crete-Monee team that is loaded with talent from both inside and outside.
Khameron Harper
Position: Guard Height: 6'2"
High School: Seton Academy Class: 2010
A superb talent who brings size and versatility to the backcourt. Harper is a highly unselfish floor leader who makes solid decisions with the basketball in his hands. Harper is poised to be one of the top players on a talented Seton Academy team that will be looking to repeat as Class 2A state champs.
