Abrams, a 6'0" guard, excels with his ability to score the basketball from pretty much everywhere on the basketball court. He is one of the elite prospects in what is shaping up to be a superbly loaded Illinois Class of 2011. Mike Irvin of the Fire confirmed the addition of Abrams for Las Vegas. The 16-U Fire already feature 6'5" Wayne Blackshear (Chicago Curie), 6'6" Sam Thompson (Chicago Whitney Young), 5'8" Jay Parker (Thornton), 6'5 Dre Henley (Chicago De La Salle) and 5'11" Kentrell King (Crete). All rank among the top 2011 prospects in Illinois, and all are playing up an age division with the 16-U Fire. 6'8" Class of 2010 Chicago Providence St. Mel star Phillip Jackson anchors the post for the squad. The Fire will open this week at the Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
