Head Coach Rodney Watson, And Division II Powerhouse University Of Southern Indiana Officially Add Veteran Recruiter Gerad Good As An Assistant Coach Chicago Hoops July 3, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Head coach Rodney Watson, and the University of Southern Indiana have now officially added veteran recruiter Gerad Good, who was most recently at Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne of the Summit League to staff as an assistant coach. Good, who was on staff at IPFW for the past two years, was previously a star recruiter for junior college powerhouse John A. Logan College. Good has long been known for his strong recruiting ties to both Indiana and Illinois, and has always recruited Chicago hard. Southern Indiana rates as one of the top Division II basketball programs in the country, and once again figures to be quite strong in 2009-10 with star guard Jamar Smith returning to lead the way. New head coach Rodney Watson has added not only Good, but also Derrick Tilmon to a staff that is ready to hit the ground running. Earlier this week, USI signed Class of 2009 Springfield Southeast star Lawrence Thomas. |
