Illinois-Bound Nnanna Egwu And "Bobo" Drummond Are Named MVP's As The 17-U Illinois Wolves And 16-U Illinois Wolves Both Open With Titles Chicago Hoops April 12, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com The 17-U Illinois Wolves and 16-U Illinois Wolves both won titles this weekend at the HOF tournament in Chicago, Illinois. Illinois-bound Nnanna Egwu (Chicago St. Ignatius) was 17-U MVP with Antonio "Bobo" Drummond (Peoria Central) named 16-U MVP. In the title game, Egwu led the Wolves with 17 points he was backed up by a 16-point effort from Jacob Williams (Chicago St. Patrick), 14 points from Will Sullivan (York) and 14 points from Illinois-bound Tracy Abrams (Chicago Mt. Carmel). In addition to Drummond, Jeff "Keke" Stokes (Peoria Manual), Mike Fleming (Stevenson), 6'8" Purdue-bound Jay Simpson (Champaign Central), 6'7" Brock Benson and Jerron Wilbut (Downers Grove South) all led the charge for the 16-U Wolves. |
