Top-Ranked Chicago North Lawndale Vs. St. Joseph Highlights A Triple-Header Of Basketball Action At The High School Hoops Showdown On Saturday In Hoffman Estates Chicago Hoops January 16, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com The High School Hoops Showdown is set for this Saturday at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The triple-header event will be headlined by a match-up between top-ranked Chicago North Lawndale and St. Joseph High School. Game 1 of the event will feature a battle between Conant, which features senior guard Tony Rizzo, and Barrington, which features 6'7" Princeton-bound senior power forward Mack Darrow. Game 2 will feature Schaumburg High School locking up with University of South Dakota-bound Conrad Krutwig, and Jacobs High School. The event will be capped off by John Taylor, Terry Johnson (Illinois State), Jon Mills (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) and Jermaine Winfield battling Wayne Simon, DeAndre McCamey, Nate Rogers and Louis Green (Illinois-Chicago) and St. Joseph High School. North Lawndale currently holds down the #1-ranking in the ChicagoHoops.com Super 10 rankings of the top high school basketball teams in the state of Illinois regardless of class.
