Class Of 2010 Unsigned Senior Prospect Watch: Isiah Hale Of Springfield High School Cavan Walsh February 3, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Class of 2010 Springfield High School star Isiah Hale has been a mainstay in the Springfield lineup for the past three years. Now a senior, Hale is continuing his strong play, and rates as one of the top uncommitted Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois. Hale, a 5'10" guard, is a versatile backcourt talent, who has long been known for his ability to score. Hale has put an emphasis on his overall point guard skills this season, and has now proven that he can run a team as well. Hale is averaging 15 points and 6 assists on the season. Springfield currently sports a 17-5 record, and Hale is happy with how the team has progressed thus far. “The seasons been going good so far, we've had big wins over Peoria Richwoods and Chicago Leo and we're just trying to get better each and every day,” said Hale. Hale won't make a collegiate decision until after the season, and is getting attention from a wide variety of programs. “I have offers from Lincoln, Parkland and Carl Sandburg junior colleges, and interest from Northern Iowa and Wichita State. I’m looking for a program that fits my playing style, and forces me to work hard every day,” said Hale. Hale, and his Springfield High School teammates will be in action this Friday when they travel to Jacksonville, and on Saturday at Peoria Manual. |
