Class of 2008 Bartlett High School basketball star Kamil Janton of the Illinois Wolves has made a verbal commitment to play his college basketball for Eastern Michigan University of the Mid-American Conference. Janton ranks as one of the top Class of 2008 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Janton, a 6-9 post, is a strong interior player who brings a great deal of upside potential to the table. A battler in the paint, Janton and 6-6 fellow Class of 2008 standout Cory Hrynyk combine to give Bartlett a formidable duo on the basketball court.

Earlier this week, Janton had an excellent visit to the Eastern Michigan campus in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Head coach Charles Ramsey, and his staff, which includes former Illinois-Chicago assistant coach Dave Donnelly, are looking to recruit the Chicago area hard, and are off to a strong start with Janton.

Janton has ben solid on the travel team circuit this season for an Illinois Wolves team that already has four players in Nick Fruendt (Northwestern), John Shurna (Northwestern), John Moran (Northern Iowa) and Chris Parrish (Southern Illinois) who have made pledges to Division I programs.
