Former Highland Park Star Josh Bartelstein Of Phillips Exeter Academy Picks Up A Division I Scholarship Offer From Sacramento State University
Former Highland Park star Josh Bartelstein, now a postgraduate Class of 2009 prospect at Phillips Exeter Academy has now picked up a Division I scholarship offer from Sacramento State University.
Bartelstein, a 6'4" guard, is known for his ability to play either guard slot, and his ability to knock down shots both with great range and accuracy. This past July, Bartelstein led the 17-U Rising Stars Blue team on a strong run at the Chicago Summer Classic, and also at the AAU SuperShowcase and National Tournament in Orlando, Florida.
Bartelstein has seen his recruiting stock begin to take off over the course of the past couple of months. Valparaiso is now actively recruiting Bartelstein, joining Drake, Penn and a host of other Ivy League and Patriot League schools.
Last season, at Highland Park, Bartelstein teamed with Chris Wroblewski (Cornell) to form a formidable backcourt duo.
