Head Coach Lennox Forrester, And Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Land Class Of 2010 Missouri Star Gerald Jones, Jr. Of Team Ramey Basketball Chicago Hoops November 6, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Head coach Lennox Forrester, and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville have added Class of 2010 Missouri star Gerald Jones, Jr. of McCluer South Berkeley to their 2010 recruiting haul. Jones rates as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Missouri. Jones, a 6'0" guard, competed on the travel team circuit with Team Ramey Basketball, is described by Terrell Ramey of Ramey Basketball as a player who excels with his ability to drive and attack the basket. Last year, at McCluer-South Berkeley, Jones averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals per game. He selected SIU-E over Tennessee State, Eastern Illinois, Southeast Missouri and others. Jones is the fifth player from Team Ramey's 17-U team to commit to a Division I basketball program. |
