6-7, 220-pound post Josh Crittle may well be the top Class of 2008 basketball prospect in the state of Illinois. Since the end of the summer season, Crittle has continued to work hard on his game, and is looking forward to a strong sophomore season on the hardwood.

Last year, as a freshman, Crittle was the 6th man on a Timothy Christian team that finished the season with a record of 26-3. On the season, Crittle averaged 11.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per contest. This year, the team will be centered around Crittle, and he is looking forward to the challenge.

Crittle told ChicagoHoops.com that he is working on all aspects of his game including shooting, ball-handling and his post game. Already one of the strongest players in the Class of 2008, Crittle is also in the weightroom looking to get even stronger.

Crittle had a solid summer playing on a loaded MeanStreets 15-U team, and turned some heads with a number of key performances against big time national competition.

Despite the fact that Timothy Christian lost a number of key performers from last year's team, Crittle says his squad will have a couple of surprises in store for the competition.
