Class of 2010 DeKalb star Jordan Threloff of the Rising Stars has taken three official visits, and is continuing to wind his way through the recruiting process. Threloff ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Threloff, a 6'10" center, is a physical and talented post prospect who has the ability to impact games on both ends of the basketball court. He is coming off of a solid run on the travel team circuit with a Rising Stars team that also featured Lenzelle Smith (Ohio State), Alex Rossi (California), Ben Brust (Iowa), Rayvonte Rice (Drake) and Fred Heldring (William & Mary).

Threloff has officially visited Illinois State, Drake and Western Michigan with the Western Michigan visit being the most recent. In regards to his visit to Western Michigan, Threloff said, It was really a lot of fun and I enjoyed myself. The coaches are great up there, and so are the players. Im glad I took a visit.

In terms of what he is looking for in a school, Threloff said, Well, I first would like a good relationship with the players and coaches to make playing and everyday life easier. Second, a program with a good history and a strong fan base, and I would like the to chance to play right away." Threloff is looking at either entering a School of Business, or studying Sports Marketing or Sports Management.

Threloff is continuing to weigh all of his collegiate options, and is looking forward to the coming high school season. I am just going to think about everything, and decide if I need to take more visits and go from there. I would like to decide before the season starts so I can focus on the team, and having the most success with them. I really want to make it to state," said Threloff.
