An Electric Scorer! Former Eisenhower Star Kaleb Wright Is Back On The Board, And Is Set To Put His Big-Time Skills On Display Chicago Hoops July 1, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Former Eisenhower High School basketball star Kaleb Wright is transferring from Florida-based juco powerhouse Chipola College, and is now back on the board. Wright ranked among the top Class of 2008 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois as a high school senior. Wright, a 6'3" shooting guard, is a strong and athletic slasher who is known for his ability to score the basketball. Wright competed with the Mean Streets travel team program as a prep, and was part of a team that also included Michael Dunigan (Oregon), Matthew Humphrey (Oregon), Josh Crittle (Oregon) and Kevin Dillard (Southern Illinois). As a prep, Wright collected scholarship offers from the likes of Loyola and Wyoming ahead of ultimately heading off to juco powerhouse Chipola College, which spent most of last season as the #1-ranked team in the country. Wright, who is actively engaged in the process of selecting a new juco home, figures to be a highly popular prospect among Division I basketball programs heading into his sophomore season. Wright will be in action on July 14 at the Midwest Juco SuperStar Exposure Showcase in Merrillville, Indiana. |
