Peoria Manual And Peoria Richwoods Are Set For A Rematch Game Tonight In A Mid-State 6 Battle Featuring State Title Contenders In Class 2A And Class 3A Respectively Chicago Hoops February 5, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Peoria Manual will travel to Peoria Richwoods in a rematch of a game won by Richwoods back in December. Both teams will be looking to gain momentum heading into March with Manual being a prime state title contender in Class 2A, and Richwoods being a prime state title contender in Class 3A. Richwoods enters the game still riding a wave of momentum after ending Champaign Centennial's 37-game winning streak back in January. Senior guard Mason Alwan has been on fire of late, and he is the perfect compliment to fellow senior guard Tylon Deal's strong all-around game on both ends of the floor with David Anderson and Tony Frazier also making strong contributions for a deep, talented and highly experienced team. Manual will be looking to avenge their December loss, and feature a wealth of talent including senior guards Marvin Jordan (Ball State) and Lawrence Alexander. 6'5" junior Andrew Jordan and 6'6" junior Brandon Watson are frontcourt difference-makers for a Manual team that also features a great deal of sophomore talent. The game is set for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at Richwoods High School. |
