Class of 2010 Chicago Foreman star Mike McCall is a sophomore who is poised to make put his name on the basketball map this year in the Chicago Public League. McCall ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.
McCall, a 6-0 point guard, is a super-quick floor leader who beats down opponents both with his ability to score, and also with his ability to distribute the basketball and run an offense. McCall has been highly impressive over the course of the past several weeks at the Rising Stars Fall League.
Chicago Foreman head coach Terry Head notes that he believes McCall's ability to create off the dribble, and his ability to make open jumpers are among the strongest components of McCall's game. He is working with McCall to improve his ability to go hard left.
McCall is starting to see his recruiting stock rise significantly. Northern Illinois has already offered a scholarship with both Purdue, DePaul and New Mexico State already actively showing strong interest.
McCall and fellow Class of 2010 star Lavonte Dority will combine to form a young and extremely talented backcourt duo this year at Foreman.
