The Illinois Old School program in their first year of existence with age groups ranging from 13-U thru 17-U is already realizing a great deal of success on the basketball court.

Illinois Old School is a skill development-based program that is specifically designed to mirror what basketball is like within the college environment. Andy Borman, who played collegiately at Duke, and Derek Molis, who played collegiately at Loyola head the program.

The program practices twice weekly with a heavy emphasis on learning and developing skills. Illinois Old School has assembled a star-studded roster of coaches including Pat Woods (Ridgewood Head Coach), Michael Harris (College and Professional Coaching Experience), Brandon Aldridge (St. Joe's Freshman Coach), Bill Hitt (Former Proviso East Coach) and Kenny Williams (Illinois-Chicago, Professional Player).

The program has already experienced some great success on the basketball court by winning the 15-U, 16-U and 17-U titles at For The Game Tournaments in Wisconsin. The 16-U team advanced all the way to the title game of the Silver Division at the Spiece Run N' Slam last weekend, and also advanced to nationals by finishing in the Top 4 at the Cincinnati Super Regional.

Chris Duhon (Chicago Bulls) and Mike Dunleavy (Indiana Pacers) are both active within the program. Borman played with both Duhon and Dunleavy at Duke.
