Paul, a 6'4" shooting guard, scored 22 points, on 8-14 shooting from the floor including 4-6 from behind the three-point arc en route to leading Illinois to a 96-69 win over Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. Illinois will next be in action on Tuesday night against Northern Illiois. Vogrich, a 6'4" shooting guard, was equally impressive in his Michigan debut. Vogrich scored 15 points in 13 minutes on 5-5 shooting from behind the three-point arc to help to fuel Michigan to a 97-50 win over Northern Michigan. Former Highland Park park and Phillips Exeter Academy star Josh Bartelstein also made his Michigan debut. Michigan will next be in action next Friday against Houston Baptist. Last year, Paul and Vogrich engaged in several epic head-to-head battles, and put the North Suburban Lake Conference on center stage. Early on, it appears that those battles could continue in Big 10 Conference play this year as well. |
