Former Homewood-Flossmoor star D.J. Posley is having a stellar sophomore season on the hardwood for junior college heavyweight John A. Logan Community College. Posley, who transferred into the program this year from Division I Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne, is the leading scorer on a team that is currently ranked #11 in the country.

Posley, a 6-2 combination guard, has always been known on the basketball court for his defense, versatility and leadership. This season, Posley has maintained all of his other skills while at the same time becoming a force offensively. On the season, Posley is averaging 18 points, 5 assists and nearly 5 rebounds per contest for a team that currently boasts a record of 18-2.

Posley has stepped up with big games against big teams. In two games against Vincennes, Posley posted games of 26 and 25 points. He scored 30 against Lincoln Trail, and put up 24 against Southeast Iowa.

Julian Wright (Kansas), Cyrus Tate (Iowa), Brewster Academy's Andre Walker (Vanderbilt) and American Christian's Marcus Relphorde are among the players who Posley played alongside of in high school.

Posley's recruitment has also been elevated with his stellar play with Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Northern Iowa, Utah State, Montana State and Arkansas State all among the long list of schools that are actively tracking his progress.
