Class of 2011 Rock Island star Chasson Randle of the Illinois Wolves enjoyed his visit to the campus of Ohio State University last weekend, and continues to sizzle as one of the top Class of 2011 basketball prospects in the United States.

Randle, a 6'2" guard, is coming off of a strong run on the travel team circuit with the Illinois Wolves, and was also a part of a strong Team USA 16-U team that competed at the FIBA Americas U16 Championships in Argentina.

Randle had a great visit to the campus of Ohio State and said, “You know Ohio State has been recruiting me for a little while now, and I finally got the opportunity to go out there and visit. I just enjoyed it man, I had a really good time with the coaches and getting to know some of the players already committed in the class of 2010 as well as some of the players already on the team. I had a really good visit, and the game was great to.”

Randle went on to note, “The campus is beautiful. It was amazing, and they showed me just about everything. The facilities you know are nice, and they are building a whole brand new practice facility, and a couple of other things that will be done by the time I go there, if I go there.”

Randle has also begun to bond with the coaching staff and noted, “It was good for me to go out there, see them face to face, and really bond with the coaching staff and get to know them better. I really enjoyed my time out there, and I look forward to continue building my relationship with them before I make my decision.”

When asked if he could see himself playing for Ohio State Randle said, “Oh yeah, most definitely! Especially with all the elite players they have coming in.”

Randle is set to visit Purdue on the weekend of September 27th, and could also be on campus at Tennessee in the near future. He is also preparing to once again team with fellow 2011 star Royce Muskeyvalley on what is expected to be a strong Rock Island High School team.
