Class of 2010 Champaign Centennial star Rayvonte Rice of the Rising Stars has now picked up a scholarship offers from both the University of Nevada, and St. Louis University. Rice ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Rice, a 6'4" small forward, is a player equally comfortable battling inside for points and rebounds against bigger opponents, or roaming the perimeter, and dropping shots with three-point range.

Rice has enjoyed a strong spring with the Rising Stars after sending his recruiting stock soaring during Centennial's run to the IHSA Class 3A state championship.

Rice, who will be in action at the Chicago Summer Classic July 9-11, recently scored a 22 on the ACT.

Mike Weinstein of the Rising Stars confirmed both the Nevada, and St. Louis University scholarship offers.
