Class Of 2010 Unsigned Senior Prospect Watch: 6'7" Remy Ndiaye Of Lake Forest Academy Dave Spahn February 23, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Class of 2010 Lake Forest Academy star Remy Ndiaye recently wrapped up a stellar senior season on the hardwood, and can now begin to focus on selecting a college. Ndiaye ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois. Ndiaye, a 6'7" wing forward, is long, athletic and highly versatile. Ndiaye is at his best offensively slashing to the hole, or posting up smaller players inside. Ndiaye is excellent in transition, and averaged about 18 points per game en route to leading Lake Forest Academy to a 17-7 record. Ndiaye knows what he brings to the table offensively. "I can get to the basket very well, and I rebound very well also. Most guys 6'7 can't run like I can, so I do very well in the open court, and in transition," said N'Diaye. In terms of recruiting, Ndiaye is hearing from the likes of Hawaii, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Albany. He places a high value on education, and that will be a major consideration in the school he ultimately chooses. "Right now, education comes first, so that is my main focus in choosing my school. No one can take education away from you. Anyone can get injured at anytime, and lose their basketball career, but an education stays with you forever," said Ndiaye Ndiaye competed on the travel team circuit with Full Package Athletics. |
