Rowley has decided to become a Class of 2008 recruit, and expects to be on campus at Northwestern this coming June. Rowley, a 7-0 post, is a big, strong and developing talent inside. He has made tremendous strides with his game over the course of the past two years, and accordingly saw his recruiting stock soar in the process. A native of Trinidad, Rowley told ChicagoHoops.com that the coaching staff at Northwestern, the current players and incoming recruits and the overall environment of the the school all factored in his deciding to become a Northwestern Wildcat. Rowley stated that he intends to be on campus at Northwestern in June to get an early start, and intends to major in business management or administration, or in journalism. Originally a Class of 2009 prospect, Rowley has earned enough credits to graduate and become a 2008 recruit, and ultimately decided to join the 2008 recruiting class. Assistant coach Tavaras Hardy played a key role in helping Northwestern to add Rowley to a 2008 recruiting class that also includes 6-8 John Shurna (Glenbard West), 6-5 Nick Fruendt (Batavia), 6-9 Davide Curletti (Michigan) and 6-11 Luka Mirkovic (LaLumiere, IN). Rowley competed on the travel team circuit as a prep with Full Package Athletics.
