The Rising Stars trailed 19-3 to open the game ahead of Brust completely taking over, and leading the team to a 16-point victory. 6'10" Fred Heldring (New Trier) also came up big with his defense and scoring with Class of 2010 star Alex Rossi (New Trier) slowed by foul trouble. Chris Klimek (Fremd) has also come up strong for the Rising Stars throughout the event. The team will now play the New York Gauchos for the right to advance to the Elite 8 of the event. The 16-U Illinois Warriors have also advanced to the Sweet 16 of the tournament.
