The 17-U Chicago Demons advanced all the way to the Final Four of the Sabes (Howard Pulley) Invitational over the weekend, and the RBS All-Stars also mounted a strong showing at the tournament.

The Demons rebounded after going 1-2 in pool play to mount a strong tournament run which included a comeback win over a strong Howard Pulley team. Earlier this spring Howard Pulley won the prestigious Kingwood Classic in Houston, Texas.

Jeremiah Hill (Chicago Von Steuben), Chris Eversley (Chicago Walter Payton), Gerad Carter (Chicago Corliss) Chris Byrd (Chicago Walter Payton) and Jeremy Head (Rich South) all had good weekends for the Demons.

The RBS All-Stars likewise had a strong showing by advancing to the Elite 8 at the event despite being a bit shorthanded with Troy Snyder (Bolingbrook) injured. Billy Molinari (Peoria Christian) stepped up huge with his long range shooting, and Jelani Johnson (Waubonsee Valley) also played strong throughout the weekend.
