The NCAA has moved back the three-point line, and prospects who can shoot the basketball are at a premium. Here is a look at the top shooters in the Illinois Class of 2009. Players are listed alphabetically. Prep school prospects who hail from the state of Illinois are included on the list.
Josh Bartelstin
Position: Guard
Height: 6'4"
High School: Phillips Exeter Academy
Class: 2009
A highly versatile player capable of getting minutes at either guard slot. Good size and strong. Was MVP at the Academic All-American Showcase. Drops shots with both great range and accuracy. Competed on the travel team circuit with the Rising Stars program.
David Bryant
Position: Shooting Guard
Height: 6'5"
High School: Batavia
Class: 2009
A strong-framed shooter who knocks down shots with range. Will be a four-year starter at Batavia. Enjoyed a tremendous run during the month of July on the travel team circuit with the Illinois Wolves.
Drew Crawford
