Absolutely Loaded!! 2009 Chicago Summer Classic Set To Run July 9-11, Once Again Loaded With Top Teams And Talent, And Once Again "Live" For Division I Coaches To Attend Chicago Hoops May 5, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com The 2009 Chicago Summer Classic is once again "live" for Division I coaches to attend, and is also once again loaded with some of the top travel teams, and individual prospects from around the United States. The event is one of the premier "live" events in the country for the July Evaluation Period. Last year, the Chicago Summer Classic, saw better than 200 college basketball coaches representing 115 college basketball programs from around the country come through doors! This year, the numbers are expected to be even higher!! This year, the event is set to be even better as the field of competing teams has been greatly enhanced. Division I coaches have not been on the road during the month of April. It is more important than ever to have your team play where the college coaches are! They will be at the Chicago Summer Classic!! The Summer Classic features 15-U, 16-U and 17-U age divisions. The event is all about exposure in front of college basketball programs, and features a 4-game guarantee. The event offers teams the opportunity to play in either a Match-Play, or Pool Play/Single Elimination Tournament format. This ensures that teams have the maximum amount of Schedule Flexibility to accomodate their travel needs as they come in from other events, and their need to leave out for events like the Peach Jam. The registration fee is $500 per team, with multi-team discounts available. The Joy of the Game Sports Center in Deerfield, Illinois will again be the headquarter facility for the event.
