In the 16-U Gold Division Playoffs the Iowa Barnstormers defeated the Illinois Bobcats in a game that saw the Bobcats fall short after coming back from nine points down late in the contest. Team NLP defeated Orange Crush 47-46 after draining a three-point basket late in the game after trailing 46-44. Jordan Harris (Oswego) sealed the win with a steal with just under 10 seconds to play. The Chicago Demons defeated Illinois Old School to advance to round two. In the 17-U Gold Division Playoffs, the V2F Conquerors knocked off the Windy City Spartans 63-60 on a Terrance Bridgeman three-point basket at the buzzer. The Illinois Flames continued their impressive run with big win over a talented Spiece Mo-Kan team to advance to round two. TABA defeated the Illinois Bobcats. The RBS All-Stars knocked off the Iowa Barnstormers in double-overtime. Troy Snyder (Bolingbrook), Russell Burns (Bolingbrook), Billy Molinari (Peoria Christian) and Jelani Johnson (Waubonsee Valley) all played strong for RBS against a big and talented Iowa Barnstormers team that is loaded across their frontline. The playoffs will continue throughout the day, and into the evening.
