One Win Away From Going Downstate! IHSA Class 4A State Tournament Set To Roll Into The SuperSectional Round Tonight With The Winners Advancing Downstate To Peoria Chicago Hoops March 16, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com The IHSA Class 4A state tournament will roll into the SuperSectional round tonight with four stellar match-ups that will lead to tonight's winners advancing downstate to the state finals on Friday, with the crowing of the 4A state champion set for Saturday night. Chicago Simeon is now playing their best basketball of the season, and will face red-hot David Sobolewski, and a highly disciplined Benet Academy team for the Hinsdale Central SuperSectional title. The winner will face the Joliet Township/O'Fallon Township winner on Friday night in the Class 4A state finals. Defending Class 4A state champion Chicago Whitney Young will face a very good Maine South team that upset Glenbrook North to advance to the UIC SuperSectional. The winner will face the Bartlett/Waukegan winner on Friday night for the right to advance to the Class 4A state championship game on Saturday night.
