Former Chicago North Lawndale Star Terry Johnson, Jr. Decides To Transfer From Illinois State University Brian Stinnette March 19, 2010 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Former Chicago North Lawndale star Terry Johnson, Jr. has decided to transfer from Illinois State University. Johnson ranked among the top Class of 2009 basketball prospects in state of Illinois as a high school senior. Johnson, a 6'0" guard, was known throughout his high school career for his ability to score the basketball. Johnson, who is a freshman, is also a strong student in the classroom academically. Johnson's father, Terry Johnson, Sr. noted to ChicagoHoops.com that they are going to take their time in terms of making a decision on a new school, and will be looking for the best fit in terms of both academics and basketball. Johnson intends to pursue his Masters degree, and would ideally like to find a school that will is also a postgraduate fit. |
