Former Chicago North Lawndale star Terry Johnson, who is transferring from Illinois State University, has decided to play for new head coach Brian Wardle, and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Johnson, a 6'0" guard, was known throughout his high school career for his ability to score the basketball. Johnson is also a strong student in the classroom academically. Johnson will have three years of eligibility remaining after sitting out for one season per NCAA rules.

Johnson's father, Terry Johnson, Sr. mentioned the opportunity to play for Brian Wardle, the chance to play in the Horizon League, and also the opportunity to get major minutes once he is able to play again as primary factors for selecting Wisconsin-Green Bay.
