Head Coach Tim Jankovich, And Illinois State University Land 6'10" DeKalb Star Jordan Threloff Of The Rising Stars Chicago Hoops October 17, 2009 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Head coach Tim Jankovich, and Illinois State University have landed Class of 2010 DeKalb star Jordan Threloff of the Rising Stars. Threloff ranks as one of the top Class of 2010 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois. Threloff, a 6'10" post, is a strong and physical interior player who makes his living in the paint. Threloff was the Player of the Year last season in the Western Sun Conference, and is coming off of a strong run on the travel team circuit with the Rising Stars. Threloff selected Illinois State after narrowing down his collegiate options to ISU, Drake and Western Michigan. Mike Weinstein of the Rising Stars confirmed the commitment, and noted that the Illinois State campus, the coaching staff, and the amount of time that Illinois State had been recruiting Threloff were all factors in Threloff's decision to become a Redbird. |
