Head Coach Tod Kowalczyk, And The University Of Wisconsin-Green Bay Land Class Of 2009 Bolingbrook Star Troy Snyder Of The RBS All-Stars
Class of 2009 Bolingbrook High School basketball star Troy Snyder of the RBS All-Stars has given a verbal commitment to play his college basketball for head coach Tod Kowalczyk, and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Snyder ranks as one of the top 2009 prospects in the state of Illinois.
Snyder, a 6'5" wing, is a highly versatile player who makes things happen both inside and outside. Snyder was the driving force behind Darryl Royster's RBS team that won the AAU West Coast National Championship, the Gold Division title at the National Youth Basketball Championships, and the Silver Division title at the Chicago Summer Classic.
Snyder told ChicagoHoops.com that he loved both the facilities at Wisconsin-Green Bay, and also the players. He went on to note that UWGB was "My type of place."
Snyder currently see's his ability to score the basketball as the strongest part of his game, and he is very much looking forward to the coming high school season at Bolingbrook.
This year, Bolingbrook figures to rank among the top teams in the state of Illinois with a star-studded lineup of players that includes both Snyder, and also Wisconsin-bound Class of 2009 star Diamond Taylor, who has transferred in from St. Joseph.
Head coach Tod Kowalczyk is reaping huge dividends in the state of Illinois by having a staff that includes a major heavy hitter in assistant coach Angres Thorpe, and also Brian Wardle. Snyder will join fellow Illinois high school star Seth Evans of Seneca High School, and the Illinois Stars in the UWGB 2009 recruiting class.
