Class Of 2011 Illinois Wolves Stars Chasson Randle (Rock Island), Nnana Egwu (Chicago St. Ignatius) And Devon Hodges (Romeoville) All Pick Up Big 10 Scholarship Offers From The University Of Wisconsin Brian Stinnette December 31, 2008 Email Questions/Comments To brian@chicagohoops.com Class of 2011 stars Chasson Randle (Rock Island), 6'9" Nnana Egwu (Chicago St. Ignatius) and 6'8" Devon Hodges (Romeoville) have all picked up Big 10 scholarship offers from the University of Wisconsin. All three players compete on the travel team circuit with the Illinois Wolves. Randle, a 6'2" guard, is a big-time talent who already holds scholarship offers from the University of Illinois and Indiana University. He currently rates as a Top 5 prospect in a loaded Illinois Class of 2011, and is coming off a strong spring and summer which saw him earn an invitation to the Reebok All-American Camp last July. Egwu, a 6'9" center, is a rapidly developing talent who currently excels with his ability to use his size and length to shut down the paint defensively. He currently rates as the top post prospect in the Illinois Class of 2011. Hodges, a 6'8" forward, who excels with his skill level and versatility on the basketball court. In the loaded Illinois Class of 2011, Hodges rates with Egwu and James Siakam (Brehm Prep) as the Top 3 post prospects. Hodges, who missed the spring with an injury, came back strong during the month of July, and was terrific in helping to lead the Wolves to the USSSA 15-U National Championship. |
