Class of 2011 York High School star Will Sullivan, who put himself on the basketball map with his strong play as a sophomore, has been even better as a junior, and has firmly solidified his position as one of the top prospects in an absolutely loaded Illinois Class of 2011.

Sullivan, a 6'2" shooting guard, is a superb basketball talent who excels with his strong all-around basketball skill set, and his ability to score the basketball. Sullivan is an excellent athlete who also delivers with his toughness, and his ability to lead. Sullivan is averaging better than 22 points and 6 rebounds per contest on the season.

Sullivan is happy with the way the season has progressed thus far. “This season has been going well. We've had a few losses to really good teams that I think we could have pulled off, but overall I think that we are competing at a high level that will hopefully continue growing as it already has throughout the year,” said Sullivan.

Sullivan is currently focused on his season, and not on recruiting, but already has a good idea of what he is looking for in a school. “I’ve been getting a lot of interest from a number of schools, but i haven’t really narrowed anything down yet. I'm focusing on this season for now, and I trust that all of that stuff will work itself out over the summer. I'm looking for a school that fits my style of play. I definitely want to go to a good academic school as well,” said Sullivan.

Miami (OH), William and Mary, Illinois State, Loyola, Missouri State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Northern Iowa, Western Michigan and a number of Ivy League programs are all among the long line of schools actively tracking Sullivan.

Sullivan, and his York High School teammates will next be in action on Friday night at home against Oak Park-River Forest.
