The Illinois Wolves 16-U team opened the 17-U SuperShowcase in Orlando, Florida with a 76-56 win over Team Champions. The loaded Wolves drew a large crowd of colleges including colleges from both the Big 10 and SEC.

Demetri McCamey (St. Joseph's) started slowly, but really got it going in the second half to power the Wolves and blow the game wide open. Evan Turner (St. Joseph's) was a force the entire game of both ends of the floor. Jon Rice (Neuqua Valley) continues to really light it up from long range.

Iowa, Purdue, Mississippi, Southern Illinois, Illinois State, Northern Illinois, Western Illinois, Ball State, Valparaiso, St. Louis, Illinois-Chicago and Miami (OH) were all in attendance to see the Wolves play.

The 17-U Illinois Warriors and 16-U Rising Stars are set to play their opening round games at 1:30pm this afternoon.
