DePaul Attendance Plummets Ahead Of Moving Into New Arena

DePaul drew fewer than 1,000 fans on 7 different occasions this year. In 2 of those games fewer than 600 fans were in attendance. DePaul averaged 1,824 fans per game for 14 home dates this season, which is down 24% from last year.
A study done ahead of the arena being built said that the team would need to average 9,500 fans per game for 16 home dates to break even. DePaul is expected to account for 40% of the annual attendance at the venue.
