Former Homewood-Flossmoor star Adam Dauksas is coming up big as a sophomore for Illinois Wesleyan University. Dauksas was the leading scorer for a Homewood-Flossmoor team two years ago that also featured then sophomores Excell Hardy, Cyrus Tate and Brian Nussbaum.
Dauksas, a 6-3 point guard is currently averaging 14 points, 5.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds. Illinois Wesleyan starts a lineup of four sophomores and a freshman. Despite their youth, they are still sporting a record of 15-6, and are in first place in the rugged CCIW.
