Brendan Mullins Signs With St. Michaels
Chicago Hoops June 4, 2003 Downers Grove South guard Brendan Mullins has signed to play college basketball for St. Michaels College in Burlington, Vermont. St. Michaels is a Division II school that went to the Division II Final Four in 2001. Mullins selected St. Michaels over an offer to be a preferred walk-on at Illinois State. The school boasts a 100% graduation rate, and will give Mullins the opportunity to play immediately. Mullins, a 6-1 guard, came on strong late in the season after overcoming an ankle injury that slowed him for the first half of the season. He scored 32 points in leading Downers Grove South to an upset win over highly regarded West Aurora in the Sectionals. |
